Countee Cullen (1903-1946) wrote My Lives and How I Lost Them “in collaboration with Christopher Cat” in 1942. Sadly, this book is hard to come by. One Amazon seller is asking for $500 for a hardback copy! A leading figure of the Harlem Renaissance for his poetry, this was his only children’s book.
